The difference is that now we can have the Surveillance State John Rockefeller and Andrew Carnegie and Woodrow Wilson wanted. We can reeducate and incarcerate at the levels they would deem necessary and the overall stupidity index is higher now than even Rockefeller could have imagined.
Fritz. You are so dead on... It bothers me so much because I'm only 43, and I see all this access we have to information right now. It's unprecedented for sure. And we watch everyone use it for anything. Instead, the tech is used for streaming sitcoms on your tablet, phone, and TV all at the same time so you can have pay attention to three things (the math is purposefully flawed there...). I have a very intelligent subscriber base, thankfully but you can look at the number and see that it's not what it should be considering you see what the channels that sell outrage has subscribed... I can't stoop to that level... arguing about things online while the entire system has been set up like this for a very long time... because... I can't quite tell if if people actually want to change... or if they truly do enjoy arguing like a sport... I know one thing for sure. Most can't answer that question what's the understanding that you and I have of what we are discussing right now.
