America Unmasked: The Hypocrisy We Refuse to Seen
We Can’t Fix What We Keep Pretending Is New
You ever know how every side in this country thinks it’s the victim now? Left blames right. Right blames left. Meanwhile, the people in charge keep cashing checks written in our names. The truth is simpler and uglier — America didn’t “lose its way.” It was built this way. Every generation just rediscovers the same betrayal and acts surprised.
We live in a country rich enough to end homelessness before lunch, but somehow too “complicated” to give you a doctor without bankrupting you. We drop trillion-dollar bombs faster than we drop tuition costs. Whether you’re wearing a red hat or a rainbow pin, admit it: you just want to be treated like a citizen of a nation that actually lives up to its own wealth and bragging rights.
Stop Clutching Your Pearls
You act like America’s moral collapse is a shocking plot twist. Boo-f***ing-hoo. The beast didn’t appear in 2016 — it’s been here since 1776. The machine was built to protect property, not people. Every reform since then has been a retrofit job that barely holds.
If that stings, good. It means you’re still alive.
Freedom of Speech — The Illusion of “Free”
“Free speech” was never free — it’s just been better marketed.
In 1917, Congress passed the Espionage Act, making dissent a crime.
In 1918, the Sedition Act said “disloyal or abusive language” about the government could land you in prison.
During Woodrow Wilson’s presidency, thousands of Americans — not spies, not traitors, just critics — were arrested for questioning a war.
Freedom of Religion — The Favorite Hypocrisy
The colonists fled persecution, built a country that burned “witches,” converted Natives, expelled Mormons, jailed Jehovah’s Witnesses,...
After 9/11, the Patriot Act let the government spy on mosques. Obama’s drones hit wedding parties. Trump’s “Muslim ban” was just another verse in the same hymnbook.
Pick a side, sing a different tune — the lyrics don’t change.
Majority Rule? What a Joke
Democracy here is like Wi-Fi: strong signal, bad connection.
The Electoral College was designed to override the people.
The Three-Fifths Compromise turned humans into math problems.
Jim Crow laws disenfranchised voters for a century.
You one of those who thinks 2020 was rigged? Welcome to the experience Black America’s been having since the ink dried on the Constitution.
Surveillance, Censorship, War — The Same Old Playbook
COINTELPRO infiltrated civil-rights groups from 1956 to 1971.
The FBI spied on MLK and tried to break him.
Nixon’s plumbers wiretapped journalists.
The CIA tested LSD on citizens under MKULTRA.

The Body Count of “Progress”
Wake Up or Shut Up
“If that offends you, good. Use the fire to demand better. Or keep scrolling like sheep.”
Why This Matters in 2025
We keep pretending every outrage is unprecedented. It’s not. It’s just our turn in the cycle. The same surveillance state. The same wars for profit. The same leaders selling unity with one hand and loopholes with the other.
Maybe the question isn’t when did America change? Maybe it’s when will Americans?

Drop your take. Argue. Deny. Prove me wrong.
But at least stop pretending the past is past.
The receipts are still printing.

Thanks for this link, Rxan.
It's all 100 percent true. It's all meant to protect Property. Not People.
And that would be perfectly alright, if only my property were protected like Bill Gates' property was protected.
The Espionage Act. That was a good one. At least it was a better name than the "Patriot Act". Every time I think of the semantic ravages of Bush and Cheney, I wonder why the TDS Victims are so singularly outraged about Trump. These Oval Office Caesars have been undermining the Bill of Rights since James Monroe.
The difference is that now we can have the Surveillance State John Rockefeller and Andrew Carnegie and Woodrow Wilson wanted. We can reeducate and incarcerate at the levels they would deem necessary and the overall stupidity index is higher now than even Rockefeller could have imagined.
