I read this like a woman pressing her ear to a fevered chest, recognizing the rage, the betrayal, the marrow-deep knowing that something has been stolen from us, yet understanding that fury alone won’t save us unless it learns how to bleed into truth instead of just noise.

Fantastic write up and a sentiment I share quite a bit.

The tone starts at the top and how we treat each other should be modeled by our leaders.

We snarl and nash now because our elected Money mongrels will it and encourage it.

The 99% of us not in politics…we are the real people, not these clowns in the sky.

Well said. These are the uncomfortable truths we do not admit. The 1% of the population, and that includes the President, ignore what’s best for the country and only care how they can continue to fatten their empires

“They gerrymander districts into grotesque abstract art — carving up maps like deranged cartographers rigging the board before the first pawn even moves. They flood elections with dark money until the voice of the average person doesn’t get drowned out — it gets entombed.” And with the SCOTUS decision on the Voting Rights Act just decided this past Wednesday, this becomes all the more easier.
