You have struck a cord with Meyer. The attack has continued with late night show hosts. All Parties have succumbed to the lure of big money for campaigns. The people that are really pissed off about this are the Independents. It is also the Independents that make up most of the Independent journalists that I have been exposed to. There is a fix to this, but no one wants to hear it. Unfortunately, the fix would require a lot of money to even attempt which would mean finding wealth Independents who believe in the voice of the people more than their own.
I haven't had so much backlash from the chat room threads in my entire time on sub stack than I did in the first hour of publishing this article. I have a dozen people just cursing him and all of them are on the left… they're proving that point I made in the article that canceling somebody so right to exist or give commentary because they only agree with 90% of what you think is almost the definition of insanity. No wonder the country is elected Trump twice. This is the voice that is coming through, even though not representative, the loudest from the left.
