OK Rxan, I’ve saved this & I’m gonna take some time thinking about it.

My 1st quick scan is positive. Just your foundational guidelines are positive.

It's definitely one of those things that's going to take some time. I wrote it before I promoted myself on sub stack so this is a repost...

I read a full earlier re-post. Quickly.

I’m impressed by the work & thought you put in.

As I said, it’s gonna require thought & ponder.

Good job.

Thanks, Robert. I genuinely appreciate the time you take to engage with me.

You're part of a very small group of people who don't just agree/disagree, but challenge me, teach me, keep me honest and help me see things I would've missed on my own. It's exactly what will make me a better writer.

I'm trying like hell to make this my new career so I can and reach more people my age and younger... And make a difference by adding a new perspective. Too many are unhappy with the country they've inherited, and have perfected the art of complaining without moving toward solutions. I'm hoping to help change that, even if only a little.

I spent more than a decade owning and operating my restaurant in Denver, so I've heard enough complaints to last several lifetimes. While I'm grateful for what that experience taught me, I have absolutely no desire to return to 65-hour workweeks. That business aged me from head to toe. It was time to take the money and run.

Writing, learning, and having conversations like this are far more fulfilling. So thank you for being part of the journey.

I was a Chef once. My son ran a restaurant for four years & my Daughter-in-Law was a Pastry Chef.

Your swing to journalism is impressive & completely understandable.

I enjoy your stuff immensely.

Keep on keeping on Brother.

I remember this post. Did you ever get the book published on Amazon?

This is still my favorite post. It's a bookmark to fixing the country. Everyone should carry it around and hit politicians in the head with it until they start to repeating since you did the hard work of quantifying what issues help the most people in the biggest ways. If we can't talk about this then we don't have a democracy.
